Default Rainsong Concert Hybrid series going up in price

Saw a post on Facebook earlier today that the prices for the CH series instruments will be going up later this fall. Quote from the post:

Quote:
Concert Hybrid Series -- Price Change!

The "introductory special" pricing for the Concert Hybrid Series ends early September (prices will go up). If you are considering acquiring one of these special instruments, the time to act is NOW.
Sounds like the sweetheart pricing on these is coming to an end. No doubt they've been a hell of a good buy so far. So if anyone's on the fence, it may be time to pull the trigger...

I wish they would release a concert hybrid 14 frets to the body WS or dreadnought. I'd seriously consider purchasing one if they did. I had a 12 frets to the body Rainsong Smokey and it just didn't do it for me at all. (Personal preference;other people seem to love the 12 frets to the body Rainsongs...)

Um... I don't know how to tell you this, but you can order a CH in either 12 or 14 fret.

12 is the default, but you can order 14.

The post said a 30% price increase. Steep, but no doubt at the current prices the CH series is seriously cannibalizing Rainsong's other lines.

The same post (presumably) indicated that Jumbos would also be available in the CH line, so you could get a P, OM, WS, D or J

I'm marginally tempted to order a J and beat the cost increase.

Oh neat! I didn't see their Facebook post but that is great regarding the new body size options for the concert hybrid series. Also, I wasn't aware you could order one of them with 14 frets to the body! No review or write up I've seen so far has mentioned that even once and I've read a bunch of them thus far. You'd think that would be something they'd want people to know. (Or maybe the people that wrote the reviews/product intro articles/posts just chose not to mention it.)

I got this from LA Guitar Sales blog:

As most of you know Rainsong's Concert Hybrid (CH) models were offered at an introductory price at introduction and they have stayed at those prices over the last year or so, but starting in September there will be an approximate 30% price increase on all models bringing pricing more inline with the rest of the Rainsong lineup. While no one likes a price increase there is some good news. Per popular demand all CH models will now be available in both 12 and 14 fret versions as well as in Dreadnought (DR) and Jumbo (JM) models.

Ted is unfortunately no longer involved with AGF, but his shop https://www.laguitarsales.com remains a great place to pick up your Rainsong or other CF or wood guitar....

My nephew (Mr. K) likes to point out that life is good, but getting expensive.

Is that possible? With prices going up in several weeks and new models coming out, I wouldn't think you'd be able to buy tomorrow's guitar at today's prices...

I'd email/call Ted or Rainsong and ask....

Ted was pretty clear that as long as it was ordered before the increase went into effect you would get the current price.
