Default Seattle...

I'm on an "out and back" cross country trip right now, and spent the last few days in Seattle with my daughter and her fiance.

I got a couple of shots of the Space Needle that I'm happy with:

We leave Newport, Oregon in about a half hour to drive the longest road in America, the "Big Daddy", from Newport to Boston.

More photos will surely follow!

Great shots. I think we just set a record around here for most days in a row without any rain or clouds (I’m on the other side of the sound).

Nice shots, exceptionally clear night from the looks of it.

We like to stay at the Westin whenever we're in Seattle - twin tower high rise in the heart of downtown. Get a high enough room facing the right direction and you've got a beautiful view of Puget Sound.

Nice pics! I think I know from where you took them, there's a little park on Queen Anne with this view, Kerry Park. Went there for a first date with my wife with some coffee.

You should go to Newport to Newport (RI) first.

Thanks! I visited Gas Works Park a couple of years ago, but that didn't offer the same shooting opportunity...

Nice. Makes me miss that city a bit. I remember so many times driving down I-5 at dusk and watching the light change. The blue hour gleam off the downtown towers was always incredible contrasted against the Sound and the Olympics.
