Where I live 2-1/2 months of real winter is too much.

I spent my first 30+ years in the state adjacent to yours. That was enough snow for this lifetime. If I miss it, I can always drive up to the mountains for a day.

Yep, that’s called “convenient snow” …the only kind I don’t hate because if I lived where it existed nearby, I would conveniently avoid it.
