Default Checking In

Hi everyone. I realize I probably don't know many of you here since I've been away from the forum for several years dealing with business and family. But I'm still playing my guitars and things have slowed down a little so I decided to jump back on here and check in now and then. I love getting educated by the members of this forum and glad its still here!

So, the prodigal Son has returned? Welcome back! I know how you feel. I took a twenty five year hiatus from music after a brief few years playing bluegrass on a strictly amateur level. You at least kept up your playing. I did not and I regret it. In any event, have fun and enjoy the companionship.

Hey Old Rocker, welcome back and make sure you join us in the Electric Guitar sub forum where you can discuss your Hardtail Strat. There are a few of us who would like a hardtail Strat but they're so hard to find.

Pleasure to meet you Old Rocker!

I always had my strats blocked to make them hardtails.

I never could understand why more hard tails aren't out there and still being made. I've had many Strats and loved them all but always blocked the bridge...never or seldom used the tremelo arm and disliked the constant tuning. I finally decided to buy a hard tail and that was the ticket...pure Strat without the wiggle.
