Time to Hit The Road
It’s that time of year to do the annual RV shake down run before starting the 2022 season. Heading down to the Cape May and Vineland, NJ areas for a quick weekend to test all the systems before our longer and farther trips this late spring and summer.
Anyone else hitting the road with their RV’s this season?

Time to Hit The Road
The tornado warnings were out all afternoon! Look at that sky, we may be spinning off to Oz soon. The KOA in Vineland NJ is neat and clean and the people are really friendly and welcoming. We will be coming back here for sure.
Tomorrow(Saturday)we are getting a real Jersey scorcher! 97 degrees, possibly a record breaker.

We just returned from a 4 night shakedown. Cool, windy weather in my part of the country, but loved every minute of it anyway. I've got 4 more trips planned over the next 2 moths.

Coming up on Bluegrass Festival season in the PNW! Got a few trips for that. The usual Mount Adams boondocking, state parks on the coast, biking and paddling, good times.
My wife just retired but I'm still working full time so full time in our vintage Airstream is not going to happen yet. |

Time to Hit The Road
We were just talking about that last night. We are about fifteen minutes from Two Bridges Winery. The guests next to us in the million dollar bus came back with two cases of wine in their tow along SUV. They said its a really nice place. Maybe we’ll get over there today!

That's a sweet rig Chickee. What size is it?
How far do you take it? Do you book a spot in advance or is it possible to just "wing it" out in the wild yonder? Very cool. |

50 miles to 1000 miles each way, depending on the sites we book. This is a 22’ footer stem to stern, 3450lbs net. The smaller side of the RV world. We always go were we have reservations. We have to book sites a year in advance or you don't get into your favorite camp grounds. As retirees who enjoy long weekends, it works out wonderfully! frank
