I would say that what it contributes to the tone of a guitar is sufficiently similar to "standard" rosewood that it belongs jn that group.

Thanks Doug! I'm really looking forward to this one. John has done great work (as he always does), and he has spoken more about tone on this one than I remember on past builds. As such, to say anticipation is high would certainly only begin to describe my state of mind.
