John, these are amazing pictures!! Brock should thank you because they helped remind me just how awesome this guitar was. I do owe you an apology though because Brock clearly has credited you on his site and I should have done the same when I inserted the photos in the thread.

All, I just put on some nice new strings and should record some new clips this weekend. Really sounding sweet! Wait till you hear this thing with a pick.

I've kept lights on it as Brock did, but he told me I could put some mediums on if I needed to kill a banjo or two :-). I think it's plenty loud!

No problem. I am glad they helped him! Brock is a super nice fella that builds stunning to all senses guitars.

For those of you playing along at home... THAT is a joke. I won't win any awards for being tidy.

I had the chance to play the highland at the newport festival a couple of years ago... made me want a poling dread. It is a great guitar!

Thanks Joe. I'm really happy with it and very grateful that someone else didn't snatch it up from Brock first. Being someone who still primarily plays fingerstyle it's everything I want in a dread -- amazingly articulate but fully capable of being picked hard and loud.

All I did manage to record some clips but I had to go to Florida for a few days to see family so clips will have to wait till next week. I hope they're worth the wait :-).
