Default Gibson 'Original Collection' Gold Top Les Paul

A lot of players looking at this new series from Gibson...just received this guitar and wanted to share it hoping other would chime in with pics and comments from other Original Collection guitars!

What an amazing gold top, Maple! I think Gibson may have something with the new guitars they're building.

Is that the Original '50s or '60s? ... Just checked the specs, must be the '50s.

And if the top carve is done well, it seems to show better on gold tops than other finishes, at least on modern era guitars...

Agree..the solid color top seems to ‘show off’ the beauty of the top curves better to my eye.
