Arcara Dread - D1A torrefied top (off market)
Extremely fine Matt Arcara Dreadnaught with beautiful flamed mahogany back and sides. Torrefied red spruce top. Exceptional fit and finish as to be expected with Matt's guitars. I got this one about 18 months ago from The Music Emporium in Boston. Excellent condition and just got it back from Matt after a quick checkup. 1 3/4 nut, hide glue, carbon fiber truss rod, stainless frets, rosewood binding and headplate, ebony fingerboard and bridge, 2 5/16ths bridge spacing, conventional long scale. I'm mainly playing 000's and OMs these days. I have posted the TME original pics at my photo web link - https://flic.kr/s/aHsmEdYYzJ Still in exquisite shape. $4700 net to me (add fees and shipping) and it comes in a Hiscox Artist case in fine condition. thanks, Gill

I have one of these from the same run, kicked my vintage Martins and every other D style guitar I owned right to reverb, they are that good.

Gill is a great guy and seller.
Being a former owner of an early Arcara, I can say they are GREAT guitars! Buy with confidence. |

Actually, I think this is my guitar being test driven by Matt.

Black Squirrel - I tried to PM you back channel but your storage is maxed out so I'll post to the forum.
I think you are mistaken - mine has a small spot in the spruce - I call it a beauty mark on the treble side of the top - below the 13th fret. I guess it's possible you have a very similar top, but perhaps check my photos and the video again. They match. I'd like to be sure folks know for sure which is which. best, Gill (((EDIT))) - Black Squirrel - Perhaps I read your post wrong - maybe you were trying to tell lukegard that his link was "your" guitar... Lowered Price
Price dropped 7/20/19 to 4,700 (net) plus actual shipping costs. Great deal if you don't want to wait on a new build from Matt...
