Very sad. Bobby Hull was one of the best. If he hadn't jumped to the WHA he would have scored over 700 goals in the NHL (he scored 610).

RIP Bobby.

One of the early superstars that I remember. A legend indeed. RIP

Absolutely terrifying coming down the wing. The first to "routinely" score 50+ goals and this was before the scoring explosion of the 70s. It's hard to believe that great Hawks team only won one Cup during his years there. His post playing career was a mess though, and his reputation - for me at least - will always be tarnished as a result.

Me as well. Huge respect for his accomplishments, but not a fan. That may have something to do with growing up in Montreal and being a Habs fan.

Yeah, I just don't get the Leafs, certain games they play brilliantly, and then next thing you know they can't even understand the fundamentals.

The Bruins had not lost 2 games in a row all season. Then they lost 3 in a row before playing the Leafs. Glad we got a win before the All Star break.

I wonder when the last time the Bruins scored 5 goals in a game and both Bergeron and Marchand had no points?

Lots of trade activity today. Anyone following the trade deadline?

Kudos to Connor McDavid for scoring his 50th goal last night in just his 61st game of the season. It's the quickest to 50 since Mario Lemieux did it 27 years ago. He leads the scoring race by 26 points. Amazing.

Kane to NYR. They have their eyes on the prize. Bring on the playoffs!

Leafs have made some moves, still don't like the goaltending situation.

Trades for established stars often take a while to pay off. Rangers are already having a tough time working Tarasenko onto a line. Of course I'd be more than happy to talk to you guys in June and admit how wrong I was

Edmonton still has poor goaltending. Even if they had just a slightly better than average goaltender, they could win a couple of rounds in the playoffs.

Default NHL Playoffs

My favorite time of year. MLB starts, March Madness, The Masters, and of course the NHL Playoffs looming.
Are all you hockey fans ready for an Edmonton/Boston Stanley Cup Finals?
GO ISLANDERS!
