Whatever I'm sure I'll probably want one.
This, if the 15's get the same neck as the 28/18 series I'm getting one, even if its got a cutaway.

Yes I know this guitar did exist in the not so distant past, but I have yet to see one and they are currently listed as.

I already have one of these guitars.
It's a CPC 16E Special Rosewood.

Well the 000-15SM 12fret/slothead and OMC-15Me do have 1-3/4" nuts, but I don't care for those. My DSS-15M I like a lot; if it had 1-3/4" it'd be perfect, lol.

Based on the interest so far I think the short answer is 'good marketing'

Here's the full screen shot of the e-mail. The bridge pins look kinda staggered...?

Probably just the normal Martin thing of drilling the holes straight and leaving the pins 1/4" proud. Leaving the end user to properly ream and slot the holes to fix it. Which, when you describe the design flaw, will draw several comments of "I think Martin knows what they're doing, I would NEVER modify a guitar permanently, HOW DARE YOU QUESTION THEM!"
