Maybe dealers still have the Stealth in stock.
According to Gotoh's website, they are discontinued.

https://g-gotoh.com/product/st31/?lang=en

Maybe they have come up with a new "lightweight" design. I didn't look around to find out.

Thanks for the mention of those. I have that same tuner on a custom build LfdM super tenor ukulele. They are certainly light but not the most robust machine, as would be expected of something that tiny and light.

I agree. One of my personal favorite guitars over the many years I've been playing. Some have voiced their opinion that the OF660 is somehow lacking in tone- I don't hear that at all. Maybe it's confirmation bias but many in the industry also enjoy the guitar because I see it all over the place in people's collections; Dave from RainSong, Arnel Pineda (frontman for Journey)....

I could go on

There are these...Gotoh “Carbon-O-Lite” @ 17.5 g ea. The OP might save a bit more weight by replacing the button with the 3D printed ones he made if they’re even lighter.

The carbon Gotoh do look nice.

But I don't think it's possible to use it on the OF660 though.
Length of the carbon plate is 34mm.

The OF660 head is simply too tiny unless maybe the plates were angled--or--maybe extreme outside the box thinking and redrilling entirely new peg holes somewhere.

I wouldn't know where to begin.

The ends of the plates could easily be shortened to butt up against each other (assuming there's enough space for them to all be fitted that way) and if you don't have the confidence to do it yourself I'd take it to a jeweler or other competent tradesman.

Leaving just the upper and lower ends untouched, it could end up looking like a custom install, which is exactly what it'd be.

I like how you are thinking guys. I will definitely look into those carbon Gotohs. As you can tell from this thread, I don't mind having to di a bit of customising.

Actually, the top and bottom “scrolls” could be removed with enough room remaining bottom-left or right corner to drill a new hole. Just like other Gotohs and modern tuners, with the post providing anchor, only one screw is needed. So a little CF and one screw removed, even more weight taken off.

Good thinking, but I've just looked and can't find them for sale. Do you know where they can be bought?

Nope, sorry. Here’s the page to contact Gotoh.
