Looks like a thin body? Love the Royal Ebony, but I think I've said that before. LOL

So, you now own, "the bestest, most knock-your-socks-off, game-changing nylon guitar in the world"?? How much thinner does the body feel compared to your other new X10s?

Default A Shout Out to Chloe, Alistair, and Emerald Guitars

I just ordered an x10 nylon string guitar from Emerald Guitars and the process was fantastic.

I had a budget in mind so I asked for features such as a traditional headstock and a less elaborate pick up system.

With the money I saved I was able to use it to get a thinner guitar so it would be more comfortable, and I chose a nut thickness that I truly enjoy. It's narrower than a true classical guitar, but wider than a typical 1.75" width.

Chloe was very patient with my never-ending questions, and what if's, and Alistair was in the loop as well.

I feel like I am getting a total custom build, and am excited that don't need to have a 4.5" deep guitar.

This will be my second Emerald guitar, the first being their 6 and 12 string double neck.

Thanks Chloe and Alistair, I really appreciate the patience you both have, and the terrific customer service.

WOW! What a beautiful collection. And the center guitar is a true work of musical art. It just doesn't get any better.

Jdinco;

I would say it looks like a "slim body" rather than a "thin body." There's some slippery semantics here since neither designation has been etched in stone (that I know of). In any event, the guitar is certainly thinner than the regular 10 and probably ultra comfortable.

It’s like you know of this guitar.

Yes, I know my nylons. Humm, somehow that doesn't sound right. By the way, how's that thing sound? A demo would be nice, if you can spare a moment from your new piano.

Amazes me. Although, I've seen The Kramster play nylon and he is some kind of good. Besides, how can he have a definitive collection of CF guitars and not include nylon or two.?
