I’ve built a dual purpose pedal board for both acoustic and electric uses. I’m currently using a Visual Sounds Route 66 pedal for compression and overdrive needs. I dial in a slight amount of compression for acoustic. I never use the overdrive side for acoustic but it is very handy and I switch to my Strat or Les Paul.

Been looking for a compressor also that won't rom the louder dynamics and only lift the quiet parts so one with a blend I assume is the go.
I had a Mooer yellow comp, didn't work for me on acoustic but if anyone wants a super budget optical compressor, Rowin Comp (which I have for electric) and the Donner ultimate comp are both optical and about $22 on Aliexpress. Also believe the Azor is as well.
