That signature Buck Dharma tone has been at the top of my top-5 list for 51 years now, regardless of various gear changeups. The other guitarist in the wraparounds is quite excellent as well, super accurate.

I really liked Billy Squier from the start, regarding him as a legit hard rock guitar slinger. Thus, I was sad to watch a weak song and horrible video derail any progress toward major success during the (image building/image destroying) toddler years of MTV. I'd like to think it was bad guidance from greedy, tone-deaf industry power brokers who made household names of countless insipid acts instead - IMHO - YMMV.
Disappointed, I simply forgot about him after that. I was grateful to be reminded again recently, and I did some digging. Here's the title cut, Happy Blues, from an outstanding all-acoustic 1998 album by the same name. Man can really play and I hope he's made a good living at it, before and since.
