Yes - not sure where he got the height gene from - but you can kind of see it in his face (forehead/jaw line)

I went to Amazon video and signed up for the 7 day free trial of MGM+, which has both seasons of the original Outer Limits. "The Forms of Things Unknown" was pretty bad, honestly. I remember the clock room with all the wires from when I was a kid, though. I'm going to find out the best episodes and watch them. "Soldier" and "Demon with a Glass Hand" were written by Harlan Ellison. Harlan sued the makers of The Terminator because the story line took elements of "Soldier," and he got a writing credit and some money for it.

I think there's better episodes to see, like "The Architects of Fear," which I did watch a couple of years ago.

Remember him from the old days, but we are N.C.I.S fans and have followed his work on that show for years. My wife has almost every episode memorized!
Wonderful character.....I"m sure the show will do a memorial episode sometime in the future.

There is a photo gallery of him and his career on the Guardian website. One photo shows him literally being mobbed by teenage girls during an appearance in the UK in 1966. There were some eight or ten of them grabbing him and trying to hold him tight.

As mob scenes go, it was every bit as intense as Beatlemania.

Being male and still quite young at the time I was vaguely aware that he had an interested female following, but I had no idea how overwhelming it was.

All the above episodes were among the very good ones imo. I thought "Fun and Games" was pretty entertaining, as was the very first one: "The Galaxy Being".
"Nightmare" was another memorable one.
Thinking back, and now as you point out the "Terminator" history, a lot of these episodes inspired some of the sci-fi that came later. I think Gene Roddenberry of Star Trek fame must have been an "Outer Limits" fan.

What was it about those crazy teenage girls in the U.K. in the mid 60's?

They were forever mobbing boys.
