It was great visiting with you at BIG!

Hahaha, I will try next time to get a little more bling. Yes Steve, it was awesome to catch up with again (in person,) with the late invite, knowing you were going to be there is one of things that pushed me over the top to attend.

I’ll definitely stop by at Woodstock. It will be good to see you again.
Thanks Al, I look forward to seeing you next month

You too, the archtop is somewhere on a truck coming back home from TX. I have not really actively tried to sell it but hopefully someday it will find it's forever home.

Just before I ran out the door to go over to Woodstock this afternoon, I did a quick and dirty shot of the guitars that brought over. I was hoping to have one or two from my Vintage Series but the finish wasn't ready in time. (It takes (me) a lot longer to put on a thin finish than a thick one. Oh well, perhaps they will go to the Artisan show.

I will have my Archtop, My steampunk SJ and the Tree OM. Hope to see some AGFr's there.

The lighting in the exhibition hall is pretty tricky. Here’s a photo of the headstock on the OM:

The bearclaw on the “steampunk” SJ in the middle:

A detail shot of the inlay:

And the archtop:

I’ll see if I can get some better photos today.

So good to see you at Woodstock. This guitar, the Tree OM, is a fabulous guitar. I spent some quality time with it, and also quality time with you. I think and hope that we will be friends for a long time. I really enjoy the conversations we have. And the guitars you build! I am a lucky man.

If I'd been looking for another guitar, I would have been seriously playing this one, comparing it to 2 or 3 others, just to be sure.

The Steam Punk guitar, in person, was even more impressive than the pictures indicate. And "The Tree" guitar was truly wonderful. John, good to see you.

These two details got me:

If you zoom in, you can see that the fret markers at the 12th fret are hexagonal shaped on the inside of the dot (tap/click on the photo to expand):

Check out the purfling!

Thanks Bill, nice catching up with you and thanks for all the photos. You really captured the color of the back much better than I did no matter how I adjusted the balance. Thanks for the nice comments too.

Thanks John, They guy who now owns it has a lot of guitars, but I hope this one inspires him and it gets a top notch in the rotation.
