Default Saint James Infirmary

Here is my version of Saint James Infirmary - one of my favorite blues tunes with a lovely chord progression. The accompanying guitar is played on a circa 1910 Stetson branded Larson. The solo is played on a 1920 Martin 1-28. The singing is, as Leo Kottke famously said, like geese farts on a muggy day.

Hi Bill,
I enjoy your recordings.
Very nice guitar playing, and the vocals fit the song very well.
The Martin sounds fantastic.
Thanks for sharing.

Very nice! Really like your version of Coney Island Cakewalk, too.

Sounds great to me Bill. I have wanted to learn a version of this song for a long time but have yet to do it.

Nice rendition. Do you think the 102-year-old Martin is starting to open up?

I haven't thought about this song for years - what a great rendition, Bill!

Those two old guitars sound terrific as well.
