Gonna guess that too. I remember hearing an interview with him where he told the story of their dad getting him and his brother the exact same model guitars in two different finishes- sunburst and something else. They decided that one was the lead guitar and the other was the rhythm guitar and whenever they played they had to make sure that the person playing the relevant position had the corresponding guitar. I thought that was so apt for kids' way of thinking! Anyway, could be those two guitars in the photo!

The photo isn't Duane Eddy but these two did play/record together and the photo is from the late 50's, I'm thinking, so overlapping era...Good guess.
