I own both the Angel & the Black Angel and can confirm they do sound the same minus the phase switch which is nice to have but not necessary most of the time. If you are blending it with another pickup source it is kinda nice to have the phase switch. If playing by itself you usually have some kind of phase switch at the amp or DI you can use if needed.
These are wonderful sounding Mag pickups and this is a good deal on a great pickup! Best of luck with your sale
