Wonder how soon you'd have it without all the interruptions? I've only played one of Peter's Zion guitars, but fell in love with the tone and responsiveness. Peter is obviously a VERY talented, dedicated builder. You're going to enjoy this beauty!

Ok so here is my final selection - a stunning piece of Quilted Sapele and an equally fantastic piece of Moonglow Sinker Redwood. These are the first pics of MY Guitar !!!! (Yes I know I have only shown 1/2 of each piece )

Of course it wouldn't be fun if I didn't also now have to consider this piece of "Moonscape" Quilted Sapele as well

Mmmm ... decsions, decisions ...

So I changed my mind and will now go for the Moonscape Quilted Sapele shown above and below without naphta (I think that's what is used in the pic above). I think it's pretty cool to have such an awesome piece of wood. Besides that I will have a "Moonscape" Back and sides with a "Moonglow" top - pretty neat IMO

Thx for the comments tpp, and Cpa!

The wood looks amazing from the picture - almost looks like the surface is uneven with the figured quilt.

Man, this Cornerstone Zion is definitely going to make a statement when it hits our shores !

Now to start practicing so I don't let Peter down with my first demo of the guitar

I've never been a big fan of Sapele, but I would definitely like to have a guitar with that set! Very nice choice Racman, Enjoy the build. I know I will.

I can't wait to see updated pictures. Peter does excellent work and you will not be disapointed.

Hmm, "Moonscape" Back and sides with a "Moonglow" top, man this guitar will take on celestial effects.
