Phil I did see that headstock, from a 00 at Woodstock correct? Cool edgeburst on that guitar if I recall.
Swapped out the tuner gears today on the Alessis, problem solved.

Well, it's still exceeding expectations! Awesome reverb, overtones, slap harmonics, lives for dropped tunings, just a great fingerstyle guitar. Will try and post some new pix soon!
