As I wander on through life, I find myself searching more and more for songs that are "alive", that is, that bring out aspects of my own life, and touch me emotionally. The genres are not nearly as important as they used to be--they are merely handy classifications, anyway...
As for what's a GREAT song to me-- They are the ones that I never tire of, the songs that, when I hear, I think of how they are such perfect renderings of my soul--our souls, floating ever through the air, Waiting to be heard/interpreted anew.
