Signing a CF Guitar
If you went to a meet & greet with a famous music icon and wanted them to sign your Emerald guitar, how & where would be a good way & place to do that?
I'm thinking a felt tip marker would smudge off pretty easy. Maybe a paint pen and keep it out of the case for at least an hour to let it dry. Signing it on the top side along the upper bout might be a good place to have a signature. Thoughts?

I'm not a fan of having celebrities sign guitars but there are certain cases in which I'd make an exception. I'd think that when a celebrity does sign a guitar, he/she should have some connection to that particular model. I'm not sure who would have a connection and I'd want to sign an Emerald...

A sharpie will usually hold up pretty good but a paint pen would be even better.

The only signature I'd want,
is already on the label inside the guitar body on all 3 of my Emerald guitars.

Yep. And this smiley face to meet the minimum for a post:

Something like a Sharpie (silver, if over the natural carbon fiber) with a light overspray of some sort of clearcoat?
Except I don't think I'd want a signature on a guitar I play all the time. A lot of people get beginner instruments (Fender Squier or Yamaha, something around $100-150) signed, so they can go in a display case and not suffer the fate of never being played. |

That's a good point. Maybe having them signing the mug or gig bag might be better.

Signing on gig bag or hardcase should be nice!

Another option could also be to get a nice strap and have them sign that. Then I could frame the strap and a poster of the guitar.
