Default martin custom 00028 1937 (authentic)

hi
i love my martin om28 modern deluxe, i think it's a great guitar, with a lot of custom features, at a decent price. also this 00028 1937 sounds interesting: authentic specs at a (lower) better price. i'm curious about adirondack top and bracing on short scale on this one.
has anyone had the chance to try one? So far, no tracks about this guitar in the europe....

Hi Tom,

Glad you are liking it so much! Now that you have been enjoying it for a couple of days, do you have any additional observations/thoughts?

It seems like a wonderful guitar, so anything else you could add would be great.

Thank you!

Not much new to add; it's showing itself to be a worthy addition to the Authentic line. I love the neck, the clarity, the tone, the playability. And the looks!
I've said before and will repeat, EIR can be an excellent tone wood. It maintains some clarity over other RWs, which can be a mid muddy when pushed. The Adi top (thinner than current Martin specs) along with the thin finish (thinner even with the Aged option), hide glue, and 1/4" Authentic braces give this an immediate power that suggests an older build. I like to think this will get even better as it breaks in. Although if it didn't, would still be an exceptional guitar!
