Default Bose S1 cover/backpack/or???

I know that Bose is planning to offer a backpack for the S1 at some point.... And they have discontinued including or offering the thin cover that came with the unit a few months ago. I am wondering if anyone has a specific recommendation of a protective cover (backpack? bag?) that I can purchase in the meantime. I use mine every week at my regular gig, plus I will be doing lots of outdoor functions in the next couple of months and in spite of my best efforts my unit is starting to show some wear, which I'd like to avoid.

The backpack is available or will be shortly. BOSE is offering it now since they are selling the S1 with the battery at the same price they previously sold it without the battery. If you were an early buyer who paid the 599 for the unit without the battery, BOSE was offering the backpack for free.
I just bought my S1 with the new battery pack for that price and the slip cover was included in the price.
I would contact BOSE customer service.
Also, there has to be some comparable sized backpacks out there that would work just as well if someone has to actually buy the backpack.

I would think that just about any large backpack would work. You may actually like an aftermarket pack better.

Thanks, but as my original post said, I'm looking for specific recommendations of one that has been used, i.e., brand and item. I know it would be possible to find a bag or backpack that would work, just don't want to grab something in the interim before the backpack from Bose becomes available and end up with yet another thing to toss in my gear closet where stuff that "wasn't quite right" seems to go to die! But in any case, thanks for the responses. Gotta learn to be more careful with my gear, ha!

The backpack arrived at lunch. Very nice, it almost feels like a nice piece of luggage. Kudos to Bose for stepping up.

Yep. Mine came yesterday. It is sturdy. I won't say woulda, shoulda, coulda but DID you get your order in? You weren't clear in your post. Mine came in about a month.

There is a storage compartment of sorts in the lid of the Bose backpack that MAY have room for a guitar cable, mic cable, mic, and the Bose power cord and maybe for my small Sunnaudio Stage DI but I haven't packed it yet. There are a couple of very small zipper pockets that do not really have room for anything but maybe picks or an extra battery.

Thanks for the photos, Jake - that looks really nice! I am carting mine around in a bag with handles, a towel draped over it in the bag... somehow that doesn't seem right for such a nice little unit.
