Looks great Zach. While I'm leaning to satin finish, I still love the look of a gloss finish. It shows off the wood so well. Not so fond of a gloss finish when I'm watching a player in a small venue, and the reflection of the lights is glaring off the top. Look forward to seeing the end result. Russ

Thanks so much! It was lots of fun with the addition of the copper details.

Thanks Beth!! I'm happy to report that it sounds like a dream! It is super responsive and has a huge, balanced voice!
I'm delivering another guitar to a guitarist off the west coast and I'm hoping to record him playing this guitar so you can all hear it in action.

Default TreeHouse Guitar build - Cocobolo/Adirondack OMZ florentine cutaway

Here are a few of the latest photos - I was able to string the guitar up on Wednesday and it will get its final setup tomorrow. It sounds magnificent!!
I'm hoping to get a video of it played by Adam Dobres a couple days before VIGF. So stay tuned!!

Just got some photos of this guitar back from my photographer!
Here they are - there should be more coming soon.
Enjoy!

Wow! I’m not usually a Cocbolo fan, but I love the look of this instrument. I love the shape, and all of the details. Total class!

Thanks Mike!!
The cocobolo pretty much inspired every part of this build. I figured that the blue patina of copper would go really nicely with it and tried to make use of the sapwood as best as possible on the sides. I'm really happy with how it turned out
Thanks for the other compliments as well!
Cheers,
-Zach
