I love Yamaha's pickup system but I am looking for a thinner body that's comfortable for long gigs. Is the FSX3 thinner? Yamaha typically doesn't make guitars that are thinner in the body.

Yamaha APX are very thin-bodied guitars. The APX700II has an ART pickup that sounds natural. I am blessed to own 3 Yamaha guitars with the ART pickups. The APX 600 has an UST.

The CSF1M and 3 models are narrower than the LS models, and a little narrower than the FS800 models. I have yet to see in person a red label FS or FSX model.

Thanks Tad Cheers

Ovation is still alive
