Well, I'm the one using the word "friends." The word they use for me is probably different.

I was to attend as a replacement for the cancelled 2020 invite but due to border issues not yet resolved I could not make the commitment. Baker has graciously moved my invite to 2022. If border is resolved I might make a visit as a spectator for a day or two but not counting on it yet.

I'm very disappointed I won't be going this year. It's a bummer because I've been wanting to go for years. I'll have to cancel my hotel reservation.
