Default Heavy Metal Classic Ballads

So, I finally bit the bullet and what a cornball, I learned Stairway to Heaven. It's actually a really nice fingerstyle piece, and an easy one to learn.

So suggest away! It seems like some of the heavy metal bands from the 70s and 80s played some nice classic ballads. What are your favorites?

Queenrsyche- Silent Lucidity (great acoustic fingerpicking with sweeping orchestral arrangements)
Metallica- Nothing Else Matters (intro great to play on acoustic)
Savatage- Edge of Thorns
Guns N Roses- November Rain
Symphony X - Candlelight Fantasia
Dream Theater- Another Day, Surrounded, Wait for Sleep

And then there's the band Opeth, they're actually from the 90s, and I wouldn't consider their songs ballads, but they're a metal band that writes lots of great acoustic based songs:

Death Whispered a Lulluby
Still Day Beneath The Sun
Patterns in the Ivy Part 1 and 2

Ah, Stairway. Can't play that one without remembering Wayne's World. "No Stairway? Denied!" Babe I'm Gonna Leave You is another good one, that was a cover of a fifties folk song. Fun to play, hard to sing though unless you have a large range. Over The Hills And Far Away is also really fun. Seagull by Bad Company, Dear Mr Fantasy by Traffic, there's a ton of others. Some electric songs translate surprisingly well too. Funk 49 by James Gang sounds good to me on acoustic. Probably all the 7th chords giving it the tonal variety I like to hear. Check out the Allman Brothers too. Everyone remembers Duane's slide work, but they had some nice acoustic ones too, like Little Martha and Midnight Rider.
