Default "Appalachia Fog" DADGAD original on a Somogyi Jumbo (Sitka/Brazilian)

Here’s a new tune “Appalachia Fog” of mine recently recorded at Dream Guitars in North Carolina. This is the first of a handful of songs I plan to release on a mountain-themed EP come late spring/summertime.

A flowing river of fog filmed near Craggy Pinnacle, North Carolina back in November:

I also wasn’t the only rambling guitarist inspired by these beautiful scenes so often laid out by these peaks—here’s a tune from the man himself, along with his demo of the same exact guitar. Rest in loving peace, Al.

A 35mm photo of the path to Craggy Pinnacle Summit:

Enjoy the journey, and many thanks for listening.

Wow, so very good, Dustin. It sets the mood perfectly. You can almost feel the damp.
Thanks for sharing.

Excellent music and a touching tribute to go with it. Lovely photography to boot. Very enjoyable.

I live across from the New River, no houses on the other side. The fog and clouds often blanket the mountains in a mystical way. Your piece evokes that perfectly

The photography evokes my memories from hiking in the Canadian Laurentides as a child, your music ... Michael Watts... which is rarely a bad thing

Thanks, my friend! Hope I get the chance to see you two in Asheville one day. It was a genuine pleasure to hang out a few months ago.

A blanket or river of fog is a beauty to behold, isnt it? Thanks for the kind words

Very beautiful composition, expressive, sensitive and magnificently interpreted. It's all the music I love
