Default You Are My Sunshine - A twisted jazz arrangment

Hi All,

In this arrangement I tried to keep the bass line descending chromatically for every single chord. What a challenge! Got through one chorus and gave up on the repeat.

Thanks for listening and be well!
-Nick

This was seriously great, lots of room to explore in that! Have to say I'm pretty jealous of that room you get to play in...living the dream, eh?

Very well done. I love the contemplative vibe. Not every song has to be done with metronomic accuracy. You prove it. Nice winter wonderland in the back too.

Lovely listening to you Nick! You have some serious chops there!

And what a lovely room to play in! Holy Cow! Thanks for your video on a cold wintry day out here in Washington State!

Thanks All,

Yes, I really enjoy playing rubato (no time, as in this video). It's always a challenge to have space without losing the listeners attentions.

Was a gorgeous room to play in. On a cottage property in Southern Ontario, Canada.

Cheers!

Nice work. Chromatic bass lines and runs do often work out nicely.
