Default Galveston - A Glen Campbell cover

Written by Jimmy Webb, this song came out in 1969. I'm playing an Iris Guitar AB model, hope you like it. Thanks Dan

Nice job on this great old tune, plumbgit. That guitar sounds great as well. Is that a maple b/s guitar?

One of my clients was Boston Scientific before I retired, so I took a few trips to Natick a few years ago. Nice area.

Thanks for posting your song.

Roger

Yes Roger, it is a Maple/Sitka small jumbo, it's brand new and I haven't been able to put it down since I bought it . BTW they tore down the old Carling Brewery that Boston Scientific repurposed and built a new office complex on the site ..seems like a waste. Hope your some place warmer than Natick it 10 degrees out with a foot of snow on the ground, with more on the way. Thx for listening and taking the time to comment, Dan.

Great song selection. And your singing and that guitar both sound fantastic.

Wish I could rub it in a little, but I’m just north of Detroit. Less snow, but cold here too. Come on Spring!

Nicely played. Great picking and soulful singing.

Funny - I wrote a song called Galveston a while back, posted it on AGF, and probably disappointed quite a few folks expecting this song that I, unfortunately, hadn’t heard of before.

But this was quite enjoyable!

Thanks for sharing.

Dave
