Default 1998 Moonstone 00-42 Guitar

VG(+) Condition. There is considerable finish checking on the top, but otherwise the guitar is in fine condition. Normal scratches on the back. Frets are in good condition.

Engelmann top. Cambodian Rosewood back. Madagascar Rosewood sides. Top is bound with Abalone and Ivoroid. Back, neck and peghead are all Ivoroid bound. There is also Abalone on the sound hole rosette, and bordering the fretboard on the body. Herringbone center seam strip in back.

Radiused Ebony fingerboard with elaborate “Snowflake” inlays. Mahogany neck. Slotted Rosewood peghead with elaborate Abalone inlay and Nickel Waverly tuners.

This is a very nice guitar, made with an incredible attention to detail.

Price is $4500 plus shipping

How about some specs?
Neck width at the nut, string spacing at the bridge, scale, measured action height at the 12th fret, height of the saddle?
All good things to know if you're contemplating a 4.5K purchase.

Right you are. Measured to the best of my ability:

1) Neck width at nut is 1&3/4 inches,

2) string spacing at bridge is 2&5/16 inches,

3) action at 12th fret: low E is 3.8 mm; high E is 3.2 mm

4) saddle height above bridge is 3/16 inches

5) scale length is 25 inches

The guitar is really easy to play!
