Jamie(ThePatienceOfJob)Joon has displayed the essence of long-suffering while we wrestled against the clock for our B.I.G. Guitars. Well, the little Walnut 00 left the building yesterday, which means today was freed up for this and that.
This: IMG_3305.jpg And that: IMG_3306.jpg Not long now...thanks again Jamie! And thanks all for dropping by. Steve |

Hey, no suffering, Mon. Enjoying the anticipation. The Kinnaird team (and their secret manservant Mathis) have other works of art to prepare for the worthy at BIG, and I am cool with that.
One thing that surprised me about THIS guitar was that I expected the Port Orford Cedar to be darker under finish, a little closer in color to the Osage. I imagine everything will darken over time, and get closer in color. J |

This one touches all the buttons! What a nice guitar. You are a lucky man Jamie. If I know Steve and Ryan (and I do), the tone will blow you away. Good luck getting anything else done for a while after this arrives.

I'd been wondering where this one had gone and now here it is finished!
Beautiful work, guys--will we get to hear it soon?

Yippee!! We're close now.
Steve, what strings do you favor on a big geetar like this? Steve better do a video, because I am too technologically incompetent to do it and anyway I'm not sure you all would want to hear me. J |

As usual Tom, thanks for your kindness! Quote:
And your SJ had strings on for what? maybe an hour... Even being a new-born, it is loud, responsive and balanced. And of all the domestic species we've used, the Osage sounds the most like rosewood so far. Going out on a limb here, but I predict you're going to like this! Steve |
