Hi acoustic people,

As the title says i’m on the search for a budget hardshell case for my BR-361. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Go used, Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace.
Picked up an as-new hard case for a dreadnought for $50.

I've had good luck so far with FB marketplace. So far it's been friendly people and very reasonable prices.

You might search to see if 'Silvercreek' has a parlor type case. I got a classical-sized one for my resonator...really nice arch-top, six-latch HSC for just under $80.00.

Define "budget".
If you can find a Hiscox, at a price you like and size that fits, grab it.

I don't know what your "budget" is but this is the Saga-made case I bought for my 371. Beautiful fit/finish and built like a tank. Also available at Amazon.

Thanks for your answers, my budget is round 70 euros since i’m in the EU. The cd1513 is not that cheap here (155 euros )
The shape of the Blueridge parlor is unfortunately not that common.

How about a Musicians Gear classical case?

$50.99 in black

$69.99 in tweed -- with an arched top.

Or a Yamaha polyfoam case for $42.50?

My Alvarez ap66sb is

9 7/8" upper

14 3/16" lower

Body length is ~19 3/4"

It'll fit. I think we got it from Musician's Friend or Guitar Center online.

Here it is at Musician's Friend. The price dropped too.

The black one is cheaper, but I like the "vibe" of the tweed better.

FWIW --- It's very easy to make very nice -- and inexpensive -- removable pads that match the case interior, using foam sheets, self-adhesive felt sheets, and carpet tape, all available @ Hobby Lobby, Michaels or any other craft store.

Thanks tbman, yes it should do the job. Unfortunately i’m unable to purchase the case from europe because of the new Gdpr regulations.

How big is this "Parlor"?

The Gator 3/4 acoustic case is a perfect fit for both my Larrivee Parlor and Rainsong Parlor.

Both of these are Martin O size, 12 fret guitars.
