Bob Bennett
For any B. Bennett fans out there he just released a new CD called "The View From Here". He also has his new site up www.bob-bennett.com.
I know he played a 810 for years but switched to a Kevin Ryan sometime in the mid 1990's. If anyone listens to singers/players like David Wicox, Pierce Pettis or Jan Krist give BB a try. Michael Last edited by waterdogmtb; 06-10-2002 at 08:04 PM. |

I just stumbled upon that CD. Linked over from Michael Card's web site. Listened to all of the samples. I liked it. Nicely redone oldes too.

tenthumbs:
Contemporary Fingerstyle/Folk w/ a seasoning of CCM in most of his songs. If you can find audio samples try listening to: Carpenter Gone Bad? Matters of the Heart Singing for my Life Small Graces Man of the Tombs Lord of the Past For a good cross-section of his material. Michael |

You know I spent all day Wed. with Kathy Wingert over at Kevin Ryan's shop and thought I was gonna get to meet Bob Bennet. He was supposed to come over to see the new Ryan Cathedral guitar, which I got pictures of, but I don't think I should post any pics since Kevin doesn't have any on his website yet. I really love Bob Bennet and Kevin Ryan and Kathy Wingert. Really God loving Luthiers and musicians.
