Now that I am done with my recordings, I can sit down and enjoy some of these posts! Looking forward to it.

Just to let you know that I'm preparing "Linger" by The Cramberries a lovely song written by Dolores O'Riordan. Hope it's ok for you. I'll be posting in the next hours ... if everything goes right.

No kidding! I'm still working on my entry but I've got some house stuff to work on this month so may not get anything submitted. I love hearing the entries though!

It's been great fun listening to everyone's songs!

I'd love to do a better recording of this, but I'm in the middle of a lot of other things (one of which is reorganizing my recording space and setup), and I just don't know if I'll have time to get to it in the next few weeks.

I recorded this quick version on my phone. Thanks for listening.

Good stuff everyone.

I was going to do something but changed my mind. I just don't feel like putting my butt on the line. Besides, there's no way a talentless hack like me can compete with any of what's been posted. I'll just sit on the sidelines and listen I think.

Not a competition - none of us could keep up with you on the bagpipes either....

This isn't a competition. I just love to hear new ways of playing and singing. I bet you have more talent than you think! Post up and have some fun with it!

Others have pointed out that it's not a competition but you do have to post a recording if you want to be entered into the drawing. I've entered recordings and I'm very much a beginner.

I’m taking a page from Warren’s songbook – he posted Joni Mitchell’s Urge for Going; have her That Song About the Midway in my sights for a 2nd November posting. As soon as I find the time to play/record….

Haven’t been able yet to listen to all songs on this Showcase but have caught several and really enjoyed. Thanks to Todd for facilitating our little online slice of AGF.
