Default Neil : Old Man : 1971 BBC LIVE Recordings

Is there a CD out for the entire show on this? I'll check and get back to you guys. The following song after Old Man is on the Piano, I think it's a classic.

Old Man was pretty cool... the way he changed the dynamics
of the song back and forth a couple of times added depth to
the song... stuff like that is why he can pack a room...

I've watched the BBC show many times on YouTube. There's no audio release of the BBC performance. But the classic Massey Hall show from that same time period is available as a full audio release.

Wasn't the Massey Hall concert for the BBC? Not 100% sure, but I think they might be the same concert. Either way, this concert is one of my fave videos.

BBC was 2/23/1971 at BBC studios in London.
Massey Hall was 1/19/1971 at Massey Hall in Toronto.

Different shows, same time period.

I wonder if Neil has the same play list(s) for Massey and BBC Live.

There are SO MANY Neil Young LIVE bootleg albums that I got a hold of while I was in Boston. Lost all of 'em.

I wonder if slowly they will come out ' legally ' I know Massey Hall used to be a bootleg.

Wonder what the process is regarding that.

Lots of good Bootleg Grateful Dead and many other bands.

I picked up Massey Hall CHEAP, i think it was $9.99 when it first came out ' legally '

Before, it was like $45 for the Boot

Neil played two shows at Massey Hall that day. Nearly identical sets; 17 and 18 songs, respectively.

The BBC show was for TV, and it was 13 songs (although only 5-6 made it onto the TV video).
