Default 1944 Gibson Banner SJ *LAST BUMP*AVAILABLE THRU FEB 28

Reducing a collection that has been accumulated over many years is painful, but here is another very special guitar:

1944 Gibson SJ Banner. Sweet version of the Iconic "Southern Jumbo" line. Well-played and has cracks on top, back, & along edge of one side. Small chip along soundhole - reglued and small cleat. 5-piece laminated neck, original gum bridge (with small plug from ??). 4-piece Red Spruce top. Original finish. Very colorful fret markers. All cracks are healed, sealed, & stable. VERY solid and well set up 3/32" E / 2/32" e. Straight neck. Non original HSC. Ready to play and enjoy. Sounds magnificent! Very easy playability. This one will be missed.

Sorry. No sound clips available. I wish I could produce one to let you know how good this Banner sounds in person.

Thanks Juston.

Yes, this was made by the Kalamazoo Gals. The previous owner sent me a picture with him, the guitar and one of the Kalamazoo Gals that worked on this guitar.

A great piece of history indeed.
