Smile Eastman E20PSB SOUND CLIPS

$725 $695 $650 plus shipping. PICS BOTTOM OF PAGE ( Thanks Tom )

Sound clips can be emailed in mp3.

I am putting my Eastman E20 PSB up for sale. I have my eye on a guitar that is currently for sale here.

The Eastman is a very nice instrument. Comfortable to play. Good bass, warm trebles and clear high end. What surprises me most is this model is loud for its size. That is most likely due to the Adirondack top and EIR back and sides.

Kind of reminds me of my former Martin 000 28vs. ( wish I still had that one )

2015 Eastman E20PSB

Has a small mark on the back. Not a scratch, looks like a small factory imperfection. Also a very few very lite pick lines that are almost invisible. An honest 8.5 \ 10.

Slot Head
Neck Material:Mahogany
Fingerboard:Ebony
Neck Profile:Traditional Even "C"
Nut:Bone 1 13/16"
Scale Length:24.9"
Body Dimensions:13-3/4" X 4-1/18"
Bracings:Hand-Carved Scalloped X
Body Top:Solid Adirondack Spruce
Body Back/Sides:Solid Rosewood
Bridge/Saddle:Ebony/Bone, 2-5/16ths Spacing
Rosette:Classic
Truss Rodual Acting
Binding Material:Herringbone
Logo:Pearl Headstock
Inlay:Abalone Snowflakes
Bridge Pins:Ebony
Body Finish:Gloss Nitrocellulose
Neck Finish:Satin Nitrocellulose
Hardware Color:Nickel
Tuners:Open-Gear Ping V93N 3+3

Case:Hardshell Case in new condition.

This is a very nice guitar. Eastman are a great value new or preowned.

Way too difficult to post pics. they keep disappearing or half disappearing. This guitar is well worth taking the time to request pics by email.

It's only showing two of your photos, maybe try reattaching them & preview the post before posting.

I just measured the string spacing at the saddle. ( 3 times )

It is definitely 2 5/16ths. I will contact Eastman and discuss this but rest assured my tape measure is accurate.

Just remeasured wearing my reading glasses and guess what...... 2 5/16ths.

I can confirm this because I just measured the string spacing on the E10-00 I have for sale (which Eastman lists as 2-5/32” also) and it is 2-5/16” as well. I used a precision steel rule, so I suspect it’s just a typo on the Eastman web-site.

PM sent.

What is the actual measured string spacing at the nut, from center of low E to center of top E?

Does this guitar truly have a 1 13/16 nut? Is this another Eastman typo? Or is Eastman not cutting the grooves as widely as other makers?

Most guitars with a 1 3/4 nut width have a string spacing at the nut of 1.5 inches. So it's very strange if this guitar, with a 1 13/16 nut width, has only a 1.5 inch string spacing. Wider string spacing is the whole point of the wider nut.
