Interesting. I always thought 'coffin' and 'casket' were synonyms, meaning exactly the same. It seems they're not? I learn something new every day...

As it says in my signature, I own a guitar shaped object. Perhaps I should put some legs on it and use it as a table.

Here is my coffin shaped pick box if anyone is interested. All hand made, picked it up at a gun show, guy had all kinds of sizes and shapes. This one was $8.00

I like the looks of it, but it does remind me of the table Meatloaf was inside in The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

The perfect gift for the dude in your band who wants to be buried with his axe.

It's a cool idea but my wife would have candles, pictures, books and knickknacks all over the thing so I couldn't get to my guitar. I'll stick with wall hangers. LOL

Default Here's my take on a guitar coffee table

I bought an antique community bread bowl, fashioned legs for it and had a piece of glass cut.

But what to put in it? Everyone seems to think it is pretty cool, except for my wife who just rolled her eyes.
