Default 2016 Gibson J-45 Vintage - Incredible tone - Torrefied Adi - VOS - Banner logo

Hi guys, I'm relatively new here and this is my first classifieds post, but I have lots of feedback and references via other forums/eBay/Paypal I can provide. Today I'm selling my J45 Vintage in preparation for an incoming Pre-War Guitar.

This model of the J45 needs little introduction, it's the best sounding new Gibson acoustic you can buy right now. Torrefied Adirondack Spruce (aka Red Spruce) top sounds fantastic with a lot of resonance in the body. VOS hand-finished. This guitar has rave reviews everywhere. Give it a listen on YouTube.

Comes with original Gibson case (nicest guitar case I've ever seen), and a professionally installed LR Baggs Anthem SL pickup. MSRP: $4800 + tax

First $2995 – local pickup in SF Bay area, or buyer pays actual shipping costs. May consider trade for a Pre-War Guitars Co, Martin Jeff Daniels, Martin Single 0 in Rosewood, or C2 conversion

From Gibson:
The J-45 Vintage model stays true to the original in every way, including the same round-shoulder dreadnought body design, an enhanced top built from Thermally Aged Adirondack red spruce, custom vintage hide glue top bracing, and back and sides constructed from genuine mahogany. Finished with Gibson’s Thin Finish plus a hand rubbed VOS process, for a truly vintage-inspired look and feel.

Still not visible here. Maybe it's a compatibility issue with the google photos, this website, and certain web browsers.

Some of those google links aren't meant for sharing on social media. I
clicked on one of the broken images and looked at "image info" and
could load the related url into my browser... anywho... here's
one, sure looks nice ...

I took my Ken Stika guitar into town today and sat with it and a 2006
rosewood j-45 and played them back to back. I think my Ken Stika
guitar must have a loose brace or something, it is a dud compared to
the j-45... 15 years ago its tone used to make people's jaws drop.

I called the luthier I go to when I got home, he said don't worry, he
thinks there's a loose brace too...

Thanks for helping get a picture up Mike– I actually played a few before buying this one. It's a beautiful guitar in looks in sound, no disappointments here!
