Recommendations for a good waterproof gigbag
Good morning to all and best wishes for the Christmas holidays .I have a simple question I am in need of a good pro quality waterproof gigbag that will hold Dreadnought and OO size guitars . I have in mind the Fusion Urban acoustic gigbag , any other suggestions or recommendations ?I am located in the UK. Best wishes to all . BTW all my guitars have hard cases but for practicality and easy transportation it has to be a gigbag

I have an Access "Stage 3" gig bag. Very nicely made. It is water resistant ballistic nylon. Not sure if that is sufficiently protective or not for your needs.

I checked the Fusion Urban acoustic gigbag out, they say water resistant, not waterproof. Nice looking bag tho.
I like Mono bags. I have their least expensive "sleeve" for electric guitar and like it a lot, use it weekly, had the bag for a few years and it still looks new. nicely made w/ good materials. here are their acoustic bags, https://monocreators.com/collections...%20Bags&is_v=1 Quote:

About 20 years ago I picked up a Levi’s gig bag. It was not water proof but It came with a water proof cover. If you google acoustic guitar gig bag with water proof cover or rain cover some options with come up.
Still have the Levi's Gig bag.

There really are no water proof gig bags out there. You are going to have to tape/ seal the bag and buy a rain fly for it.
If I lived in the UK I would be using a plastic TSA case with a rain fly for sure. |
