Default Panel-mount 1/4" plug

Is there such thing as 1/4" panel-mount TS and/or TRS plug?

I'd like to build a small battery box adapter that can be inserted right into guitar endpin jack and won't require extra cables.

Wouldn't any 1/4" (or whatever size you want - probably something else if you're supplying DC???) plug that has a threaded on cover (vs. molded) work? Just find out the size/thread ct, get yourself a lockwasher and nut to fit, and drill a hole in the box you're going to put stuff in.

Those new wireless transmitters must be doing something like that.

Sure - get a Switchcraft plug (not a Neutrik), unscrew it, and buy a nut and a washer that fit.

I find it easier to just crazy glue them into place:
