Default Gluboost for touchup after bridge reset??

Is anyone using the Gluboost "Fill n Finish" product to touch up the lacquer finish around the bridge on resets? Or, what is your preferred method? Thanks!!

I have used CA for touchup, but on lacquer finishes, I prefer using lacquer. CA tends to be harder than lacquer, and will often show a witness line or raised surface after buffing.
CA works better on the polyester finishes that are common on Asian guitars.

Thanks John,
Do you typically brush it on or do you like to spray better?

Thanks, Bill

If you are talking about some Nitro chipping away at the edge of the bridge foot print then more likely you would be doing drop fills. You can use a tooth pick or a very fine and small artist brush and just drop fill and level back.

In general, it depends on the size of the area I am repairing. If it is less than around 1/4", I drop fill with a small brush.
