Default Whipple Creek D28 - German Spruce / Guatemalan Rosewood

*Edit - this guitar was returned to the builder due to some "issues" and as far as I know, he's since retired or just apparently doesn't care to deal with guitars anymore, so I'm deleting this information.

This one looks impressive. The hard part is going to be deciding which one to play!

This will be a monster, Matt. I had a chance to play a Whipple Creek D28 at a festival several years back. I have wanted one of Terry's guitars ever since then.

Thanks, and I promise you can play them one day.

Box is closed up, ready for binding. I went with solid wood (Holly, which is a little lighter colored than maple).

Light build, two tone bars and pre-cleated to avoid a top seam split?

I bet it is a lot easier to put a cleat in there now rather than
later ...

Yes, the bracing measurements come from a 1935 Martin D28. And I agree on the cleat!
