PB, for me, because they just sound better, to me, on my particular guitar.

I have been using and coming back to Phosphor Bronze strings since I was first introduced to them in the 80's. To my ear they just sound richer and more pleasing than 80/20 strings.

Every now and then I'll re-try 80/20s as well on an all mahogany 000 and also on a Adirondack over Cherry Bourgeois LDBO. It's nice to hear the tonal change for a bit but at the end of the day I go back to either Phos Bronze or D'Addario Nickel Bronze (which kinda go in the 80/20 "direction" to my ears).

This is me 100%. Too many overtones are just distracting for me.
