And thanks for the tips - I just ordered a few backdrops, clamps, stands, and lights too! I also saw something that seemed interesting for photographing small objects when you don't want to set up a whole studio - a 30" studio tent. Seems interesting. I already have a nice camera + lenses + flash - just needed some studio setup prodding.

Thanks again!

Thanks again for the tips - my new gear all came in and today I set it all up like you said and took the best pictures I've ever taken! You might not think these are "professional" but they are far and above any picture I've ever been able to take. Thank you so much

Have you taken the link down again? I'd love to see it but received a missing message.

Thanks,

Look for it by Monday OK. I guess it expires after so many hits. I will see if it is further extendable.
If you want it on disc - How about $10 shipped? 48 states. Other states and countries ask for a price (I'll only add the extra shipping); [email protected] for our Paypal or mail address

Is there supposed to be some audio that goes along with this?

Just another bump for this. I had my Gibson CS-356 for sale (using my "old, before I watched the lesson" pics) for about four months but I could not get a sale done. I went through the lesson, bought a backdrop + lights, and took the pictures I posted earlier. I then uploaded those pics and *bumped* my "FS" thread on TGP. I sold it within 24 hours after that for my asking price that I had asked four months previously. No haggling or anything. It's worth it! I'll have the backdrop + lights for another 10-20 years and I'll have the knowledge forever. The $150 or whatever that I spent on the photo gear has already been earned back by the sale of that Gibby (not having to discount it) and now I can just enjoy that gear.

I just can't say thanks enough - this is just awesome of you to share!
