Oh yikes -- that "pick" my brain was a totally unintentional comment. I crack myself up.
On the beveling thing, I'm just here in this discussion as a regular member, not a pitchman for any particular company, so feel free to PM me and take it off the board. I WILL say, though, that my experience with a number of great players -- of which I am not one -- is that they prefer to apply their own bevels. So a manufacturer ships a beveled pick to them and they immediately re-bevel it. Can't tell you how many times I've seen this. Also, bear in mind that there are a number of different bevel designs on the market, all slightly different from one another. Red Bear's bevel is different than Blue Chips, which is different than Dunlop Primetone, which is different than... well, you get the point. My Two Cents, scott |
